"The Drowned World" By JG Ballard. Maybe he is slightly inspired by it.<br />"Kerans stared down at the vast swarm of long brown forms swimming powerfully through the seething water, their massive tails lashing the foam. By far the largest alligators he had seen, many of them over 25 feet long, they jostled ferociously as they fought their way into clear water, churning in a pack" Funnily enough this is set in London in the future where global warming (I think) has taken a hold and London has flooded up to 5 story buildings.<br />just thought you may find that interesting. =)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
